MINERAL APATITE FORMATION1
Through ionic activity, ACTIVA BioACTIVE supports the natural process of apatite formation. The apatite stabilizes the bonding agent/hybrid layer, the weakest point of any restoration. Ionic activity also modulates biofilm formation. The result is active defense against microleakage, bacterial incursion, and secondary caries.2

EXCEPTIONAL MICROLEAKAGE PROTECTION
In a recent 60-day university study of prepared composite-tooth restorations exposed to experimental cariogenic conditions (E. Faecalis based microleakage model), (publication pending, International Journal of Dentistry, 2025), ACTIVA BioACTIVE Bulk Flow experienced the lowest incidence of microleakage (highest success rate/protection against microleakage) compared to competitors and traditional resin composite technologies. Sample survival rates after 60 days are shown here.
